The Nurse Preceptor Academy and the Healthcare Preceptor Academy are one-day, intensive training programs to prepare bedside nurses and allied health professionals as preceptors to fulfill their role of acclimating new graduates to the rigors of a high intensity, acute-care hospital environment. Our goal is to prepare experienced bedside nurses and allied health professionals as preceptors and reduce attrition in the hospital setting.

The Nurse Preceptor Academy is a training program for hospital registered nurses serving as preceptors to newly hired nurses in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
